VAG Crankshaft Seal Flange Remover and Installer
for 1.4 and 1.6 – 16 Valve VAG engines
fitted to Audi / Skoda / Fiat and VW vehicles
Engine code BAG 1.6 direct injection / petrol.
Removes and installs.
Engine specific tool vital to ensure the correct alignment of the main seal house crankshaft sensor. The Seal housing carries the crankshaft sensor mounting.
To renew the Crankshaft oil seal on Volkswagen and Audi engines is a tricky operation. The flywheel oil seal is integral with the housing and engine speed sensor and is supplied with a new timing ring. If the oil seal is faulty the assembly will need to be replaced in it?s entirety.
