Overview – Commonly used to split the output signal from a device featuring a 4 pole jack socket such as a camcorder. The cable can also be used the other way around, for allowing two source devices to be connected to one outputting device. Please don’t get this cable confused with a standard stereo cable, this cable has 4 poles (3 black rings on the jack), not 3 poles (2 black rings).
