Which device for which drying? This question was already a thing of the past with its predecessor model, because the unique adaptronic power control of the VX 5 practically makes thinking in device classes obsolete:
The three-stage adjustable turbo motor of the VX 5 reaches up to 20,000 rpm and guarantees maximum efficiency at every power level, because thanks to the integrated HiDry automatic system, the current volume flow in m³ is permanently recorded and the VX 5 independently regulates itself to the optimal air throughput.
One press of a button is enough, and the device optionally switches to a higher power class or, if necessary, to the additionally available whisper mode.
Power-optimised energy consumption
Unlike conventional side channel compressor turbines, the turbo motor of the VX 5 MultiQube always maintains a linear direct relationship between power and current consumption:
If the power level is reduced or the counterpressure drops, the power consumption also decreases. In addition, the power control is not resistance-oriented but is aligned to the required volume flow.
Thanks to this technology, the VX 5 operates extremely energy-efficiently compared to side channel compressors and, especially in the final drying phase, practically at energy-saving eco rates.
Always as much power as you need:
- Power level 1: Corresponds to the power of a 0.8 kW side channel compressor.
- Power level 2: The VX 5 is approx. 10 % stronger than a side channel compressor with 1.1 to 1.3 kW power.
- Power level 3: Corresponds to 140 % of the power of a 1.1 kW to 1.3 kW side channel compressor and 80 % of the power of a 3 kW side channel compressor.
HiDry automatic system
Raw power alone is not worth much without clever power control. On the contrary: Overuse only increases wear and power consumption. Nothing else. Because less than the motor power used, a consistently high airflow in the insulation areas to be dried is the crucial success factor for accelerated drying progress.
That is why the new VX 5 is equipped with the innovative HiDry control automatic system, which adjusts the power not based on resistance, but volume flow-oriented, and in this way independently guarantees the most effective power at every stage for every drying setup.
Similar to a “cruise control” in a car, the sensor-supported HiDry automatic system continuously and dynamically regulates the volume flow power of the VX 5 to the preset optimum of the respective power level.
While at the beginning of drying, when resistance is still relatively high, more motor power is necessary to maintain volume flow, the power requirement continuously decreases during the drying progress.
The HiDry automatic system ensures throughout the entire drying period that the VX motor never produces more power than is necessary to maintain the volume flow optimum.
Fully automatic always the most effective drying power
The result: Fastest possible drying with minimal energy consumption!
A green display confirms optimal volume flow, orange indicates limit ranges and with red LED the air throughput is insufficient for the area, so optimisation of the setup is necessary for quick drying.
